The Revolution is the best energy storage solution for utility, commercial, industrial and residential applications. Unlike Lithium-Ion batteries, this system is specifically designed for stationary energy storage, and therefore has many advantages in that area.
The specially designed 700 lb carbon fiber rotor stores 30 kWh of energy, and has a disconnected spin down time of 2 weeks. Over its 30-year warrantied life it will operate with no capacity degradation, maintenance or daily cycle limit. This system spins up to 21,000 rpm in a permanently sealed vacuum without the use of mechanical bearings or traditional active magnetic bearings.
